Our acid cooling units draw off the heat produced in the mixing process and cool finished process acids down to a defined temperature. They can be used as an integrated constituent part of an acid mixing unit or as a standalone application. The selection of the cooling process or a combination of various processes depends on the individual requirements and is done on the basis of economic points of view.
The Inbatec cooling with the highest performance up to now is a constituent part of a mixing unit for sulphuric acid. It has a mixing capacity of 6 m3/h or 144 m3/d and runs without the use of electrically generated cooling when using 98% core acid. The plastic heat exchanger that we developed allows the heat to be drawn off solely by evaporative cooling.
